           The   Department  of Home Science was established in the year 1997 in the Regional College  offering undergraduate three year degree course.

            The Home Science department is a dynamic and interdisciplinary academic unit dedicated to the study of various aspects related to home and family life. Our interdisciplinary approach encompasses subjects such as Nutrition, Food science, Clothing and Textile, Child Development, Home Management. Our department seeks to improve the quality of life within homes and communities.

            The Home Science department prepares students for careers in Nutrition, counseling, Interior Design, Family Therapy, and other fields that directly impact the well-being of individuals and families. Through innovative course work and Community engagement, we empower our students to make a positive difference in households and communities world-wide.
