ABOUT REGIONAL COLLEGE
The Regional College was established in 1981 under the initiative of the Governing Body and local educationist, which was later registered in 1986 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.The college was affiliated with Manipur University in 1991–1992, after obtaining concurrence from the Government of Manipur for permission vide Memo No. 6/7/87-S/SE dated October 26, 1989, and was permanently affiliated with Manipur University in 1999. The college is included in the lists of institutions recognised by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, under Sections 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act in the year 2000.

Infrastructure
The college campus spans across 7.5 acres of land, organized into three blocks, encompassing a total built up area of 3740.75 square meter. It has expanded its infrastructural facilities to one academic and administrative block, various cell offices, 15 classrooms, 9 laboratories, one central library, 1 seminar hall, 1 auditorium, hostels for women, girl’s toilet, boy’s toilet, faculty toilet, botanical gardens and other upcoming rooms.
- Laboratories: The college has 9 laboratories and other upcoming labs to conduct experiments for students and researchers. The physics department has a dedicated dark room. The Department of Biotechnology, computer science, chemistry, zoology, home science, geography have their own labs too.

Thank you for considering Regional College, Lilong Chajing, Imphal, Manipur a right
choice, a Government Aided College to undergo B.A. and B.Sc. programme on various
21 disciplines. Our college was established initially as a private college and permanently
affiliated to Manipur University under Section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC act in the year
2000. With the introduction of NEP in 2020, our college have inculcated the curriculum,
co-curriculum activities which are inclusive, interdisciplinary, experiential and ICT
based. Learning methods. The college faculty comprises of fine educators and they
occupy various positions of academic merit in their respective fields. The students can
enjoy different facilities like library, wifi enabled campus, laboratory, gyms, sports
and games. We holistically develop our student to make them better citizen of the world.
Our alumni have done us proud, The entire Regional College takes immense pleasure
